Marketing Technology (MarTech) Manager

 

Hanover Research is seeking a Marketing Technology Manager who will lead and manage Hanover’s marketing technology platforms. This role will translate our business goals into technology implementation, keeping a watchful eye on the potential of automation and efficiencies throughout the tech ecosystem.  The Marketing Technology Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing Operations.  The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a fast-paced, multi-channel marketing department and have proven success launching and managing key marketing technology platforms including ABM and online chat.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing and implement new marketing technology capabilities to enable Hanover’s marketing lead funnel across multiple platforms
  • Build, launch, and manage ABM platform including developing all integrations and maintaining platform performance (specifically 6Sense)
  • Manage CRM data cleanup and integrity efforts (specifically Salesforce)
  • Oversee online chat platform operation and troubleshooting (specifically Drift)
  • Assist Marketing Operations Director on HubSpot management and operations; helps troubleshoot any issues
  • Integrate marketing technology platforms, manage updates, and provide ongoing maintenance (troubleshooting as needed)
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders in sales and IT to ensure proper integration of our marketing technology platforms into legacy CRM, CMS, web analytics, and marketing automation/email platform (specifically HubSpot)
  • Track platform performance against KPIs spotting opportunities to improve conversion paths and increase funnel marketing efficiencies
  • Evaluate marketing performance/impact and make data-driven recommendations on optimizing marketing processes, infrastructure, and technology investment to improve marketing activity impact and drive efficiency
  • Sunset any duplicative technology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment desired, with strong “do it yourself” work ethic. You’ll work with a team but will need to be a self-starter on many projects.
  • Ability to partner with contractors and vendors.
  • Coding experience (CSS and Javascript preferred).
  • Prior experience launching and managing ABM platforms (6Sense preferred).
  • Prior experience managing online chat programs (Drift preferred).
  • Prior experience integrating marketing platforms with CRM and CMS (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred).

Minimum Education Required:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in marketing, business, computer science, or related fields.
 
Minimum Experience:
5-7 years of experience in marketing technology, operations or automation with hands-on experience installing and managing marketing platforms.
