Hanover Research is looking to add an experienced revenue Accountant to our growing company. A prospective employee will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, ability to work independently and within a team, self-assurance and a high sense of integrity, confidentiality, and honesty. This opportunity is ideal for an individual accustomed to a fast-paced office environment.

The successful candidate will share responsibility for revenue accounting duties such as order processing, billing, and collections.

• Monitor, review and process all orders, including preparing order checklists
• Complete Client billings for all orders
• Manage a subset of customer collections
• Communicate with clients, Revenue teams and India-based shared services team to resolve order, billing and collection issues
• Engage with Content team to process usage records for reimbursable expenses related to customer projects
• Prepare cash receipt and journal entries
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of revenue-related balance sheet accounts
• Engage with IT to design and implement new Salesforce based enhancements related to order to cash process
• Assist with the preparation of process documentation and training of India-based shared services resources
• Manage and resolve helpdesk requests sent by employees and clients
• Work independently to resolve issues
• Perform special projects as needed by management

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or similar field is preferred
• A minimum of three years of experience in revenue accounting
• Experience with subscription billing is preferred
• Experience with Salesforce or Sage Intacct is preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

• Experience with Workday is preferred 

Experience Requirement

• 3-5 years in experience in a similar role.
